The Mocktail Bar

We believe the bar experience should be as thoughtful as everything else. Our halal programme features a dedicated mocktail bar with original recipes developed by our Marrakech-based beverage team.

Signature Mocktails for New Year's Eve 2026/2027:

Gourmet Halal Dinner Menu

All food served at our Halal NYE is halal-certified. Our supplier chain is verified: the butcher, the poultry, and all processed ingredients carry halal certification. We do not mix halal and non-halal kitchens.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the camp entirely alcohol-free, or just certain sections? The entire camp is alcohol-free for this programme. No alcohol is served anywhere on site on this date. You will not see it, smell it, or be around it.

How is halal certification verified? We work with a certified halal butcher in Marrakech whose products carry valid halal certification. We can provide documentation on request.

Is there mixed-gender seating? By default, yes — the event is mixed. If your group requires separate seating or a dedicated private space, please contact us in advance and we will arrange it.

Is music halal? We play live Gnawa and Andalusian music — traditional North African forms rooted in Sufi and Berber culture, instrumental and vocal, with no explicit content. We do not play Western club music at this event.

Can I attend with elderly parents or grandparents? Absolutely. The setting is outdoor but comfortable, with plenty of seating, heating, and a relaxed pace. Guests who want to retire early can do so at any time.

Are there prayer facilities? The desert provides complete privacy for prayer. We have a designated quiet area and can provide a prayer mat and compass. Overnight guests can observe Fajr at sunrise with a view of the Atlas Mountains.

Do you speak Arabic? Yes. This programme has a dedicated Arabic-speaking host throughout the evening. All communications before arrival can also be handled in Arabic.
